1. Purpose
These Terms and Conditions aim to define the conditions and procedures for using the service provided by Layered (hereinafter referred to as the "App"), as well as the rights, obligations, and responsibilities of the users and the App operator.
2. Effectiveness and Changes
- These Terms become effective immediately upon installing and using the App.
- The operator may amend these Terms as necessary within the scope of relevant laws. Amended Terms will become effective upon notification within the App or on the app store page during an update.
3. Service Usage and Restrictions
- Calendar and Reminders Access: The App requires access to your device's calendar and reminders data to display your schedule and tasks on wallpapers. This data is processed locally and is not sent to external servers.
- Photos Access: The App requires Photo Library access to let you choose background images and save the generated wallpapers.
- iOS Shortcuts: On iOS, users may use the Shortcuts app to automate wallpaper updates. The operator is not responsible for errors arising from the user's incorrect configuration of Shortcuts.
- Android Widget and Wallpaper Application: On Android, the App can apply wallpapers directly and refresh them via a home screen widget. Wallpaper application may be limited depending on the device manufacturer or OS policies.
4. Paid Services (In-App Purchases)
The App provides some features as paid services.
- Subscriptions (Monthly/Annual): Premium features are available for the duration of the subscription. Subscriptions renew automatically and will be charged for renewal unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel subscriptions in [Settings] > [Apple Account] > [Subscriptions] on iOS, or in the [Payments & subscriptions] menu of Google Play on Android.
- Lifetime Access: Users can access all premium features permanently through a one-time payment.
- Refunds: Refunds for in-app purchases follow the policies of the store where the purchase was made — Apple's App Store on iOS, and Google Play on Android.
- Restoration: If you delete and reinstall the App or change devices, you can restore your purchase using the "Restore Purchases" feature, provided you are using the same Apple account or Google account used for the original purchase.
5. Ad Serving
The App may contain in-app advertisements to keep the service free. By using the service, you agree to the display of advertisements.
- Interstitial Ads: For free users, an interstitial ad may be displayed during the wallpaper-saving process.
- Rewarded Ads: Users may choose to watch ads to temporarily unlock certain features, such as premium templates.
- Ad Networks: This App serves ads through Google AdMob and its mediation partners (e.g., Unity Ads, Pangle, Liftoff Monetize).
- Ads are not shown to premium users.
6. Support and Inquiries
- Users can submit service-related inquiries through the in-app "Contact Us" feature or via email.
- With your consent, push notifications may be sent to notify you of replies to your inquiries. Notifications can be turned off at any time within the App.
7. Intellectual Property
- Intellectual property rights in the App and the templates, fonts, and design resources it provides belong to the operator or their rightful owners.
- Users may freely use wallpapers created with the App for personal purposes. However, extracting the App's resources for redistribution or commercial use is not permitted.
8. License and Store Terms
- The operator grants users a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App on their personal devices for non-commercial purposes.
- iOS: Matters not specified in these Terms follow Apple's Standard End User License Agreement (Standard EULA).
- Android: Matters not specified in these Terms follow the Google Play Terms of Service.
9. Service Interruption
The operator may temporarily suspend the provision of the service in the event of system maintenance, replacement, failure, or communication disruption. Furthermore, the service may be permanently terminated for operational reasons, in which case prior notice will be given.
10. Limitation of Liability
- Service Reliability: The operator does not guarantee the accuracy or reliability of the information (calendar events and reminders) displayed by the service, as it depends on the user's device data.
- Data Loss: The operator is not responsible for data loss caused by device changes, app deletion, or device loss.
- Third-Party Ads: The operator is not responsible for any damages resulting from the use of third-party advertisements or sites linked within the App.
